Requirements to register with ZIMRA?
Businesses are liable to register with ZIMRA within 30 days of trade commencement.
Company registration requirements with ZIMRA.
- Certificate of Incorporation;
- CR6 (former CR14), CR 5 (former CR6);
- Bank Statement of the business, stamped by the bank.
- Memorandum of Association (1st 3 pages plus the last page);
- Articles of Association (1st 3 pages plus the last page)
- Documents for the Public officer (stamped bank statement, letter of appointment as public officer, ID, proof of resident).
Individuals registration requirements with ZIMRA.
- Stamped individual Bank statement.
- Individual ID copy
- Copy of proof of residence in the form of utility bills, supported with affidavit if not in the trader’s name.
The business is issued a Business Partner Number (BP Number) soon after ZIMRA registration. The taxpayer is also advised of taxes which they are registered.
